In this video, I give you guys a step by step walkthrough of exactly how I set up my own Street Smart Edge for day trading, and used it to make roughly $30,000 in day trading profits in the last month, despite being new to this trading platform. As a side note, unfortunately when I was recording, there was some weird glitch where it refused to record any of the pop up menus. I tried to put in screenshots where I could, but there were some parts of the video I had to delete because you guys literally couldn’t see what I was doing.

The main parts were:

1) Settings (in the top left) — Settings — Global — Display Themes. This is where I change it from light theme, which is default, to my preferred Dark Theme.

2) Right under Display Themes in Settings is Sounds. I like to have a sound when an order is filled, because this alerts me if I accidentally left an order open from hours ago and just got filled, so I can immediately exit my position if necessary.

3) Still under settings, but now instead of the Global tab at the top, go to Trading. The first check box for Order Verification allows you to remove the message before placing your order / cancelling an order. If you want to speed up the process, you’ll want to uncheck this box. It’s based on your preference, and how fast you trade.

4) Last but not least, go to Help in the top left corner, and click on Live Help. This will open up a live chat box with a Schwab agent, which usually takes less than 30 seconds to connect. This is SO much better than waiting on hold for hours, and I frequently chat in to clarify any questions during the day.
